BREEDER'S GUARANTEE AND PURCHASER'S OBLIGATIONS TO VALIDATE GUARANTEE


 


    The breeder swears that to the best of their knowledge, the above puppy/dog is free of any illness or disease. the purchaser is responsible for taking the above puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian within five (%) working days of receipt or puppy/dog for a medical examination. If medical problems are found, IT IS THE PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE THE BREEDER WITH VETERINARIAN REPORTS TO PROVE THAT THIS PROBLEM WAS PRESENT WHEN THE SAID ANIMAL WAS RELEASED FROM THE BREEDERS'S CUSTODY. The breeder has the option then of reimbursing the purchaser for medical (veterinarian) expenses, or providing the purchaser with a replacement puppy/dog of the same quality.

    The breeder will not be responsible for any illness or disease after five (5) working days have passed, nor will they be responsible for any problems which may arise after the puppy/dog has been given a clean bill of health by the purchasers veterinarian. The only exception to this was described in #1.

    The breeder will replace the above puppy/dog, or refund the purchase price in full, if the purchaser provides the breeder with a veterinarian's certificate proving that the above puppy/dog suffers from FATAL CONGENITAL ILLNESS (heart, kidneys, etc) and was present when the said animal was released from the breeders custody.

    HIP GUARANTEE: If, at any time from the dat of purchase to two years thereafter that above puppy/dog develops clinical hip dysplasia (crippled, causing suffering and lameness) attested to by x-rays and evaluation by a competent licensed veterinarian, due to congenital defects rather than neglect, injury or environmental circumstances, the puppy/dog may be returned to the breeder at the expense of the buyer, with appropriate documentatio. The breeder will, at their discretion, either refund the full purchase price or replace the puppy/dog as soon as a suitable replacement becomes available. The breeder reserves the right to request that the x-rays be sent for review to a board-certified veterinary radiologist at the expense of the buyer. Should the buyer prefer to retain the dog, the buyer then forfeits any replacement or refund.
    In the case of a puppy/dog purchased for the purpose of breeding/showing and that has been shown to championship and has clinical hip dysplasia attested to by the OFA, the seller agrees to co-ownership of a replacement puppy/dog of equal value to the original puppy/dog purchased or a refund valued at half of the cost of the purchased puppy/dog.     TEMPERMENT GUARANTEE: If the temperament of the puppy/dog is found to be unsuitable by the purchaser, it may be returned to the breeder (only in good health with medical records and reg. papers) at the buyer's exponese. The breeder will provide a suitable replacement canine of equal value as soon as one becomes available.

    It is further understood and agreed that no other warranty or representation has been made with respect to the sold puppy/dog, except as set forth in this agreement.
